Ochre Gingham Check – Plaid non-woven wallpaper for the nursery and kids' room – Atelier Chien

A timeless classic with a warm, playful touch! The Gingham Check Ochre Yellow Wallpaper by Atelier Chien is a gorgeous addition to any nursery or child's room. The classic check pattern in a warm ochre yellow shade brings coziness, character, and a hint of nostalgia to every space. Perfect for anyone who loves a stylish interior where classic patterns meet contemporary design.

The small checks of about 1.2 inches (3 cm) create a refined, balanced gingham pattern. This recognizable print is reminiscent of charming woven fabrics, giving walls a warm, inviting feel. The ochre yellow color adds a cheerful pop, while the delicate pattern simultaneously creates a sense of calm. A lovely balance that fits effortlessly into a peaceful nursery as well as a playful kid's room.

The warm ochre yellow color pairs beautifully with natural wood tones, soft cream shades, and linen fabrics. Think of a wooden crib, a soft wool rug, and natural or beige accessories. Prefer a surprising color palette? Add light blue, olive green, or burgundy details for a playful and modern look.

Whether you choose a single accent wall behind the crib or want to paper the entire room, this gingham wallpaper makes it easy to create a warm and personal atmosphere. The classic check pattern adds just that bit of extra character without overwhelming the space.

The wallpaper is made of matte non-woven wallpaper with a calm, sophisticated finish. The material is FSC-certified, VOC-free, and flame-retardant. Thanks to the user-friendly non-woven material, you apply the wallpaper paste directly to the wall, making installation much easier.

Each roll contains two wallpaper drops measuring 20.9 inches (53 cm) wide and 106.3 inches (270 cm) high. Together, they cover a wall width of 41.7 inches (106 cm), provided the wall height falls within the available drop length.

The design was lovingly created by Annechien, the designer behind Atelier Chien. Driven by her passion for color, unique prints, and playful interiors, she creates designs that lend character to every room. The wallpaper is made to order in the Netherlands, with dedicated attention to quality and detail.

A wonderful choice for a warm nursery or a cozy child's room where natural materials, classic patterns, and cheerful color accents come together. At HUSKS Home, we love pairing this wallpaper with wooden furniture, soft textiles, and delicate accessories.

How much wallpaper do you need?

Each package contains 2 drops measuring 20.9 inches (53 cm) wide and 106.3 inches (270 cm) high. Together, they cover a wall width of 41.7 inches (106 cm), provided your wall height including trimming allowance fits within the available drop length.

Step 1: Measure the total width and height of your wall.

Step 2: Add about 4 inches (10 cm) to the measured wall height to account for slight height differences or uneven ceilings.

Step 3: Divide the total wall width by 53 cm (20.9 inches) and round up to calculate the required number of drops. Because each roll contains two drops, divide the number of drops by two and round up again to determine the number of rolls needed.

Important: We recommend ordering all required wallpaper rolls at once to prevent any slight color variations between different production batches.
