Wide Stripes Burgundy Blue – Striped non-woven wallpaper for the nursery and kids' room – Atelier Chien

A classic stripe with a surprising color combination! The Wide Stripes Bordeaux Blue Wallpaper by Atelier Chien brings warmth, character, and a playful vibe to the nursery or kid's bedroom. The combination of deep burgundy red and blue gives the wall a rich, stylish look with a fresh twist. Perfect for anyone who loves unique interiors where color and timeless design meet.

The wide stripes of approximately 3.5 inches (9 cm) create a bold yet serene pattern of lines. The classic stripe design gets a modern feel thanks to the striking color pairing. Warm burgundy red brings depth and character, while blue provides a crisp contrast. Together they create a harmonious look that fits beautifully in both a baby's nursery and an older kid's bedroom.

This special wallpaper pairs wonderfully with natural wooden furniture, warm cream tones, and soft fabrics. Think of a gorgeous walnut crib, a light rug, and natural or beige accessories. It also forms a lovely combination with olive green, soft pink, or warm earth tones, giving the room its own personality without feeling too busy.

The wallpaper is made of matte non-woven fleece wallpaper with a calm, refined finish that truly makes the colors and wide stripes stand out. The material is FSC-certified, VOC-free, and flame-retardant, and it is easy to hang because you apply the paste directly to the wall.

Each package contains two wallpaper panels measuring 21 inches wide and 106 inches high (53 x 270 cm). Together they cover a wall width of 42 inches (106 cm), provided your wall height fits within the panel length. Whether you want to create an eye-catching accent wall or wallpaper the entire room, this design gives any space a completely new feel.

This wallpaper was designed with joy and care by Annechien, the designer behind Atelier Chien. Driven by her love for unique prints, surprising color palettes, and playful interiors, she creates designs that add character to any room. The wallpaper is made to order in the Netherlands, with close attention to quality and craftsmanship.

A wonderful choice for a warm, stylish nursery or a playful kid's room where natural materials, unique colors, and timeless design come together. At HUSKS Home, we love pairing this wallpaper with wooden furniture, soft textiles, and refined accessories.

How much wallpaper do you need?

Each package contains 2 panels measuring 21 inches wide and 106 inches high (53 x 270 cm). Together they cover a wall width of 42 inches (106 cm), provided your wall height (including extra trimming margin) fits within the panel length.

Step 1: Measure the total width and height of your wall.

Step 2: Add about 4 inches (10 cm) extra to the measured wall height to account for small height variations and uneven ceilings.

Step 3: Divide the total wall width by 21 inches (53 cm) and round up to find the number of panels needed. Because each package contains two panels, divide this number by two and round up again.

Important: We recommend ordering all required wallpaper panels at once to avoid slight color variations between different production batches.

Installation

The Wide Stripes Bordeaux Blue Wallpaper by Atelier Chien is made of non-woven fleece wallpaper and can be applied directly to a pasted wall.

Preparation: Make sure the wall is clean, dry, smooth, and even before you begin.

Wallpaper paste: Use paste specifically formulated for non-woven wallpaper.

Hanging: Apply the paste evenly directly to the wall and carefully place the panels edge to edge. Make sure the wide stripes run straight and align neatly for a seamless, balanced result.

Trimming: Carefully cut away any excess wallpaper with a sharp craft knife.

Styling tip: Pair the burgundy and blue stripe wallpaper with a walnut crib, a soft cream rug, and natural materials. Add subtle olive green or yellow accents for a fun, contemporary pop of color.
