The Gaston blanket is made from 100% merino lamb's wool. Please note: this is not extra-fine merino wool, but a fuller, warmer wool quality with a beautiful natural look. The wool is mulesing-free, OEKO-TEX® certified and known for its breathable, temperature-regulating, and antibacterial properties. This makes the blanket wonderfully warm on colder days and also pleasant to use for children with sensitive skin or eczema.

What makes this blanket extra special is how it is made: in Belgium, knitted in a small family factory and finished in a protected workshop. This makes the Gaston blanket not only beautiful and functional, but also a conscious choice.

Merino wool does not need to be washed often. This fiber is self-cleaning, so airing it outside or hanging it in a steamy bathroom is often sufficient.
