MarMar Copenhagen - Timeless luxury and sustainable design

MarMar Copenhagen is a premium Danish children's brand, founded in 2008 by Marlene Holmboe. The brand focuses on offering luxurious, timeless clothing.

MarMar Copenhagen is known for its refined, classic designs characterized by sophisticated details, an excellent fit, and the highest quality materials. The brand combines functionality with aesthetics and offers clothing that lasts, both in design and use.

MarMar Copenhagen produces two main collections per year, spring/summer and autumn/winter. An important part of the brand are the NOOS collections, which are always available and are loved by parents as the perfect base for their children's wardrobes. These clothes are designed to be worn all year round and can be easily combined with seasonal styles.

Sustainability and responsibility
Sustainability and ethical production are central to MarMar Copenhagen. The brand strives to create products that last, both in quality and design. MarMar Copenhagen primarily works with certified suppliers in Europe and continuously works to increase the share of responsible materials in their collections.

For example, they use GOTS-certified organic cotton, recycled polyester, TENCEL™ Modal, and other sustainable fibers.

MarMar Copenhagen also has a strong focus on minimizing the environmental impact of their production processes. The brand works with suppliers who adhere to strict ethical standards and ensure good working conditions, without child labor and with respect for people and the environment. The brand exclusively works with suppliers certified according to standards such as BSCI, SA8000, SMETA, and GOTS.

Quality and materials
MarMar Copenhagen stands for the use of the best materials that are both durable and functional. The collections are made from natural fibers, such as certified organic cotton, TENCEL™ Modal, and merino wool, which ensure high wearing comfort. The brand also uses recycled polyester and other responsible fibers to reduce its ecological footprint.

Many of the products carry the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificate, which means they have been tested for harmful substances. In addition, only man-made fibers are used in the production of clothing when they improve the functionality and durability of the product. MarMar Copenhagen also uses deadstock fabrics found at suppliers to reuse existing fabrics, which helps reduce waste.

Transparency and sustainable transport
MarMar Copenhagen has a clear policy for responsible production and transport. Approximately 70% of production takes place in Europe, 16% in China, and 14% in India. The brand uses road transport within Europe and opts for sea freight for production outside Europe to minimize the ecological impact.

MarMar Copenhagen works with transport companies that implement green delivery options, such as electric and hybrid vehicles and route optimization to reduce CO2 emissions.

MarMar Copenhagen strives for transparency in its processes and makes conscious choices that benefit both the environment and the future of children.

Through the clothing they design and produce, the brand hopes to make a difference in the world, with an eye for quality, design, and the planet.
